Adelaide, Australia -RIJ- According to FAX release from Honda Motor Co.Ltd., Honda R&D Teams third Honda Dream finished at Adelaide and won the 1996 World Solar Challenge Wednesday. Honda Dream, two seaters and four wheel solar car, run 3,010 km distance between Darwin and Adelaide by new record time four days, total 33 hours 32 minutes and new average speed 89.76 km/h. Old records were five days, 35 hours 28 minutes and 84.96 km/h, set by second Honda Dream in 1993.
