SUZUKA -RIJ- (via telephone) Japanese journalists enjoyed deluxe touring on Suzuka Circuit East-Course at passenger seat Thursday because their driver was Rusty Wallace and the cab was Ford Winston Cup car! After two hour test driving for Goodyear in morning by Wallace, he and Dale Earnhardt showed demonstration run for Japanese media at Suzuka. Then press conference, Winston Cup car experience time were held for Japanese media.
While Wallace's morning test, times were not appear on monitor. When Wallace and Earnhardt run as demonstration laps, they cruised by 56s seconds per lap.
There was no chance to test the wet tires because of fine weather.
