Although their 1997 entry has been delayed until 1998, Japanese racing car
constructor Dome will do Time Attack Test at Suzuka with their original
Formula One car Dome F105 Mugen-Honda on October 30-31. Their regular driver
Shinji Nakano will drive Ligier Mugen-Honda in 1997 Formula One season and
will test Ligier in Europe. So Naoki Hattori will drive Dome F105 Mugen-Honda
at Suzuka. According to Nakano who drove both Dome F105 Mugen-Honda and Ligier
JS43 Mugen-Honda, power of Dome's test-engine is about 50hp less than Ligier's
race engine. So "Target Time" will be 1'43s, Dome Team expected.
